About the Author
Envy on the Ice: Todd Kortemeier is a sportswriter, editor, children’s book author, and lifelong hockey fan from Minnesota. He now lives near Minneapolis with his wife, daughter, and their dachshund-beagle mix, Ski.
Gridiron Grit: Before J. N. Kelly was an author, he was an athlete. He was a fast runner, who loved baseball and football. Now he gets to write about those sports. He lives in Western Wisconsin with his wife, three children, and a toy poodle.

He was the originator of the best-selling Jake Maddox series of sports fiction books, and spent more than a decade as a sportswriter, covering pro, college, and high school sports. He lives in Minnesota with his wife.
