Autism and Loss Featured as Second Chance Ranch Series Returns


SAINT PAUL, MN, November 5, 2018 – Jolly Fish Press, an imprint of North Star Editions, Inc. (NSE) is excited to announce the January 1, 2019 return of Second Chance Ranch, an animal and family-focused series for middle-grade readers ages 8-14. The series, written by Kelsey Abrams and illustrated by Jomike Tejido, will feature four all new fiction titles about the Ramirez family, a diverse family of six who own and run Second Chance Ranch, an animal rescue and rehabilitation ranch in Texas.

In Forever Amigo, the lead title in the new set of four, middle sister Abby, who is on the autism spectrum, must say goodbye and let go of one of her dearest friends, retired service dog, Amigo.
