Statement on book bans:

Jolly Fish Press unequivocally stands against legislation that seeks to keep books about people of color and LGBTQIA+ people out of schools and libraries.

We believe all readers deserve to see themselves and their experiences represented in the books they read. Libraries and librarians should not be punished for encouraging the free exchange of information; that is, after all, their mission.

Legislative attempts to suppress authors, educators, librarians, and readers will not deter Jolly Fish Press from seeking and publishing stories by and for excluded and underrepresented people.
